Texas Health Hospital Rockwall will be the name on the new scoreboard at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium when the Rockwall Yellowjackets and Rockwall-Heath Hawks kick off the 2026 football season on Friday, Aug. 28.
Rockwall ISD Sports Marketing announced Aug. 14 that Texas Health Hospital Rockwall has been named the Platinum Scoreboard Sponsor for RISD Athletics, the highest sponsorship tier in the district's revamped athletic program.
The deal fills the marquee slot on the new video scoreboard that a Rockwall Herald report on Aug. 6 said was nearly ready to power on. RISD Sports Marketing said the hospital's backing will help enhance the game-day experience districtwide, according to a post on the program's Instagram account.
Texas Health Hospital Rockwall, at 3150 Horizon Road, is part of Texas Health Resources, a faith-based nonprofit system with more than 28,000 employees across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The hospital had already served as a presenting sponsor for at least one RISD Sports Marketing community event before securing the platinum-level designation.
The sponsorship caps a summer-long overhaul of the district's sports marketing operation. RISD Sports Marketing relaunched in May with revamped sponsorship tiers, contacting existing partners before July 1 and then opening the door to new sponsors. More than 18,700 students attend Rockwall ISD schools, and both the Yellowjackets and Hawks compete in UIL District 10-6A.
Head coach Trey Brooks and the Yellowjackets host Prosper at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium. The Hawks also open Aug. 28 against Mesquite. Rockwall-Heath's Saturday home slate at Wilkerson-Sanders includes Highland Park on Sept. 5, Trophy Club Byron Nelson on Sept. 12, Forney on Sept. 26, Mesquite Horn on Oct. 24 and the crosstown rivalry against Rockwall on Nov. 7.
