Rockwall High School football fans can meet coaches and players at a Family Night event on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at Standard Service in Heath.
Rockwall ISD Sports Marketing announced the event on X, saying attendees will hear from coaches, meet players and take part in games and activities. The department tagged the Rockwall football program's account in the post but did not specify a start time or list which other Yellowjackets sports might be represented.
Standard Service is at 4240 Ridge Road in Heath. The venue features an outdoor lawn area with a 20-foot screen, pickleball courts, cornhole and ping pong, according to its website. Wednesday hours at the Heath location run 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The timing lines up with a break in the schedule. The Yellowjackets play a district game at North Forney on Friday, Sept. 25, then have an open date on Oct. 2. That puts the Family Night squarely in the team's bye week.
Rockwall is 3-1 overall. The Yellowjackets are 1-0 in District 10-6A play and riding a three-game winning streak, according to MaxPreps. After an opening-week loss to Prosper, 56-37, on Aug. 28, the team rattled off wins over Dallas Jesuit (51-28), Melissa (46-41) and Mesquite Horn (69-48).
The turnaround follows a 4-6 finish in 2025. Head coach Trey Brooks set the tone early. "There's nothing better than getting back here and back out on the field with these guys," Brooks told the Rockwall County Herald-Banner on Aug. 11, when official practices opened.
After the bye, Rockwall returns to district play Oct. 9 against Longview at Wilkerson-Sanders Stadium. The remaining home slate includes Tyler Legacy on Oct. 16 and a Senior Night matchup with Royse City on Oct. 30. Road games follow at Forney on Oct. 23 and at Rockwall-Heath on Nov. 6 to close the regular season. All kickoffs are set for 7:30 p.m.
