Rockwall ISD students at every grade level can meet college, university and military recruiters at a free College & Career Night on Monday, Sept. 14, at the Rockwall-Heath High School Ninth Grade Campus in Heath.

The district announced the event on X on Thursday, Aug. 27, emphasizing that the evening is open to all enrolled students. That includes freshmen and sophomores, not just juniors and seniors who are closer to graduation decisions.

The session will cover the college admissions process and post-secondary opportunities available after high school.

Who will be there

The Rockwall-Heath High School counseling team posted on Instagram that the event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and that recruiters from colleges, universities and military branches will be on hand to discuss their programs. The district's official post did not list a start or end time, so families should confirm the schedule through the registration page.

Representatives will be available to answer questions about admissions requirements, financial aid and career pathways, according to the district's description of the event.

Location and registration

The Ninth Grade Campus is at 2727 South John King Blvd. in Heath. Families can register online through the StriveScan registration page linked in the district's social media posts.

The district also held a College and Career Night in September 2024 at the same campus. That event ran from 7 to 9 p.m. The earlier start time listed for this year's event has not been addressed by the district.

Rockwall ISD serves more than 18,700 students across its campuses, according to the district's official account.

No registration deadline or capacity limit has been announced. The district has not published a full list of attending institutions or a detailed agenda for the evening.
