Rockwall Helping Hands will celebrate 50 years of serving the community with its 15th Annual Pink Party on Thursday, Oct. 1, at Willis Fine Jewelry.
The fundraiser, running from 7 to 9 p.m., raises money for mammograms, early detection screenings and well-woman exams for underserved Rockwall County residents. All proceeds go directly to the Health Center at Helping Hands, according to Blue Ribbon News. The nonprofit, founded in 1976, provides medical care and health screenings to families across the county.
The Health Center at Helping Hands and Graceful Wellness Medspa are co-presenting the event, which takes place at 2845 Ridge Road, Suite 201.
Willis Fine Jewelry is donating 10 designer jewelry pieces for a raffle. Tickets will be drawn throughout the evening, with grand prize drawings livestreamed on the Helping Hands Facebook page at 9 p.m. Winners do not need to be present.
Guests can personalize a ribbon on the Honor Wall with each raffle purchase to honor or remember cancer survivors and loved ones.
The evening features food from Sear Steakhouse & Lounge and floral designs by Bunches, along with photo opportunities and community recognitions.
Helping Hands is also partnering with Hunt Regional Mobile Mammography to bring a mobile mammography coach to Willis Fine Jewelry on Oct. 1, offering 3D mammography and bone density screenings. Most insurance is accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid. Resources may be available for uninsured or income-eligible women. Appointments can be made by calling (903) 408-5010, according to the Royse City Herald-Banner.
Residents can attend in person or watch virtually on the Helping Hands Facebook page. Raffle tickets and event sponsorships are available online, at select community events or at the door.
