Hundreds of rubber ducks will race down the fountains at The Harbor in Rockwall on Saturday, Oct. 10, and for the first time, entering is free.
The 14th annual Rubber Duck Regatta and Jeep Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2059 Summer Lee Drive, according to the Rockwall Herald-Banner. The signature duck race starts at 4 p.m. in front of Cinemark at The Harbor.
Admission is free.
Presented by the City of Rockwall, the Regatta has been voted Rockwall's Best Community Event in both 2024 and 2025, according to event organizers in a Blue Ribbon News listing. Proceeds benefit Grace Clinic Rockwall County and Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Texas.
Duck race entries are free for the first time this year, with no purchase necessary. Residents can claim one free ticket per cell phone number through the official event website. Additional entries may be available through activities and participating locations during the festival. Free entries are available while supplies last.
The first three ducks to reach the winner's tube will earn family adventure packages. Participants do not have to be present to win.
The Jeep Wrangler is no longer the duck race prize. Organizers moved it to a separate sweepstakes called Driving For Good, presented by Group 1 Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Rockwall. The grand prize package is valued at $82,950 and includes a 2026 four-door Jeep Wrangler Sport 4x4 with custom off-road upgrades, a 2026 Yamaha VX Deluxe WaveRunner and $10,000 cash.
The Jeep giveaway tradition started in 2022 when Grace Clinic joined Boys & Girls Clubs as a partner. Past winners include Andrew Prather (2022), Charles Tulk (2023), Stephanie McDaniel (2024) and Stephanie Norton (2025).
Saturday's festival also features a kids zone, local vendors, food trucks, live music, Jeep events and games. The 2026 Jeep Wrangler and WaveRunner will be on display.
