Rockwall County has named presiding and alternate judges for all 14 polling locations ahead of the Nov. 3 General Election.

Elections Administrator Christopher J. Lynch signed the appointments, which were posted to rockwallvotes.com. The staffing confirms every site is ready for a ballot that includes federal, state and county races, plus City of Fate and City of Wylie contests.

A separate Ballot Board, led by presiding judge Patti Muggeo with alternate Jeanine Allen, will handle mail-in ballots.

Polls open at 7 a.m. They close at 7 p.m. Rockwall County voters may cast a ballot at any of the 14 locations regardless of precinct, according to the county's Election Day locations document.

What's on the ballot

The county election order, issued Aug. 11, lists 10 local offices: County Judge; Judge, County Court at Law No. 1 (unexpired term); District Clerk; County Clerk; County Treasurer; County Commissioner in Precincts 2 and 4; Justice of the Peace in Precincts 1 and 2; and Constable Precinct 3 (unexpired term).

Three seats on the Rockwall Central Appraisal District Board of Directors (Places 1, 2 and 3) are also on the ballot. Fate's ballot is the most crowded in the county: voters will fill a Council Member Place 1 vacancy created after an earlier recall, and decide four separate recall propositions — one each for Mayor Andrew Greenberg and Council Members Richard Maneval (Place 4), Mark Hatley (Place 5) and Martha Huffman (Place 6).
