The Rockwall County Republican Party says it has held four meet-and-greets ahead of the Nov. 3 general election and plans additional gatherings.
County Chair Alma McClintock outlined the outreach in a party announcement published by Blue Ribbon News on Tuesday, Oct. 6. Precinct chairs organized events where residents could speak with Republican candidates and elected officials.
At The Harbor in Rockwall, speakers included State Sen. Bob Hall, congressional candidate Jace Yarbrough and County Judge Frank New. They encouraged attendees to prepare to vote and bring family and friends to the polls.
A “Grill & Greet” at Heath City Park featured county commissioners Dana Macalik and Lorne Liechty, followed by a George Strait tribute performance by Brent Brunson.

The latest gathering, in McLendon-Chisholm, included Criminal District Attorney Kenda Culpepper and Tax Assessor Kim Sweet, who discussed their offices’ responsibilities.
