Four free Thursday-night concerts will close out the 2026 Concert by the Lake season at The Harbor in October, with tribute bands covering Elvis Presley, Jimmy Buffett, and Def Leppard before the Rockwall Philharmonic wraps the series for the year.

Rockwall Parks and Recreation posted the full fall schedule on the city's event page:

  • Thursday, Oct. 8 — The King Lives (Elvis tribute)
  • Thursday, Oct. 15 — Buffett Beach Band (Jimmy Buffett tribute)
  • Thursday, Oct. 22 — Def Leggend (Def Leppard tribute)
  • Thursday, Oct. 29 — Rockwall Philharmonic (orchestra)

All four shows run 7 to 9 p.m. on the amphitheater stage at 2059 Summer Lee Drive, on the shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. Admission is free.

The fall run picks up after the summer series, which began May 7 and ran weekly through late July. Combined, the 2026 season features more than 60 free concerts between Concert by the Lake and the city's San Jacinto Music Series, according to the city's [April 2026 newsletter](https://www.rockwall.com/documents/newsletter/2026/City Notes April 2026.pdf).

Concert by the Lake has been a lakeside fixture since 1999 and has featured more than 200 bands over the years, according to Planet Rockwall. The series was nominated for The Dallas Morning News' Best in DFW award in two categories in 2025: Family Friendly Show and Arts and Culture Event.

Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, picnics, and beverages. Boats also fill Rockwall Harbor to catch the music from the water.

Parking and weather

Public parking is available along Summer Lee Drive and in the parking garage near the Trend HR Tower. Any spot labeled "public parking" is fair game.

If weather threatens, Rockwall Parks and Recreation will make a cancellation call by 6 p.m. the evening of the concert. Check the department's Facebook page for updates.
