Kaydon Castro ran for 177 yards and two touchdowns, but Rockwall fell 56-37 to Prosper in its season opener Friday, Aug. 28.
The Yellowjackets trailed the No. 8-ranked Eagles 35-16 in the second quarter at Wilkerson-Sanders Memorial Stadium before mounting a 15-0 run, according to the Rockwall County Herald-Banner. Rockwall recovered an onside kick during the surge, and quarterback Collins Jones found Ryan Wiley for a 39-yard touchdown with 2:33 left in the half to pull within 35-31.
That momentum didn't last.
