Rockwall and Heath Lacrosse is hosting its inaugural pickleball tournament to raise money for the program's K-12 players, and registration closes Thursday, Oct. 22.
The Big Dill Pickleball Tournament runs Sunday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Oasis Pickleball Club, 5757 State Hwy 205 in Rockwall. Entry costs $50 per player, paid as a team. Each team is guaranteed at least three matches.
The program announced the event on its website. The tournament will feature multiple skill divisions, food trucks, snow cones, a silent auction and a raffle, according to the sponsorship page. All proceeds support coaching, equipment, fields and player development for the lacrosse program, which serves kindergarten through 12th grade.
A Family Court sponsorship costs $250.
Board president Tammy Keeline is the contact for questions and can be reached at 760-707-3270 or [email protected]. Players can register through Swish Tournaments before the Oct. 22 deadline.
