Rockwall's Lady Jackets volleyball team plays North Forney on Tuesday, Oct. 20, with the District 10-6A championship on the line.

Rockwall ISD Sports Marketing announced the matchup on X, confirming the game will stream on the Rockwall ISD Sports Network.

The Lady Jackets enter at 30-8 overall and 11-1 in district play, good for first place in 10-6A and a No. 20 state ranking on MaxPreps.

Coach T. Ferguson's squad has leaned on a potent attack all season. Senior Zailey High leads the team in kills. Senior captain Ryan Anderson, a right-side hitter, ranked second on the team with 301 kills through early October and had already surpassed 800 career kills, the Rockwall Herald-Banner reported Oct. 6. Anderson also contributed 36 service aces and 195 digs.

Freshman Aniston Barnett has been a breakout performer, sitting third in kills with 176 while tying for the team lead with 62 service aces and topping the roster with 52 blocks as of Oct. 13, according to the Herald-Banner.

North Forney brings its own firepower. Senior Braelyn Patton, a Texas A&M commit, ranked among the Dallas area's top hitters with 439 kills and 99 blocks through Oct. 14, according to stat leaders published by The Dallas Morning News. Setter Trynity Alsaid, a North Texas commit, reached 1,000 assists on the season at an 8.7-per-set clip.

The two programs have been on a collision course since September, when both opened district play 4-0. The Dallas Morning News flagged their September meeting as a potential battle for sole possession of the 10-6A lead.

The matchup carries district-title implications, with Rockwall's 11-1 district mark and North Forney positioned as the top challenger. A title would give the Lady Jackets the top playoff seed heading into the UIL postseason.

The game streams on the Rockwall ISD Sports Network.
