Rockwall County voters will have 14 locations to choose from on Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the general election, with early voting starting Monday, Oct. 19.

Voter registration closes Monday, Oct. 5.

Heath City Hall, the Rockwall County Historic Courthouse and the Gene Burton College and Career Academy on John King Boulevard are among the 14 vote centers, according to the Rockwall County Elections Department. Voters may cast a ballot at any location. Polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club will not serve as a vote center this cycle because of ongoing construction, according to the county's election day locations list.

Early voting runs through Friday, Oct. 30, at five sites: the Rockwall County Courthouse Annex, Ernest Epps Education Center, Fate City Hall, Heath City Hall and the Rowlett Utility Customer Service Center. On Sunday, Oct. 25, the Annex is the only early voting site, open 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Elections Administrator Christopher J. Lynch oversees the election.

The Commissioners Court also addressed two courthouse construction items when it met Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the Historic Courthouse. Meeting minutes have not been published, so the outcomes have not been confirmed.

Commissioner John Stacy sponsored both items. One called for selecting a winning bid on the District Attorney Expansion project, a second-floor interior renovation at 1111 E. Yellowjacket Lane to expand the Criminal District Attorney's office space. The court voted 5-0 on Tuesday, Aug. 11, to approve bid documents prepared by Parkhill and authorized County Auditor Lisa Constant Wylie to advertise for sealed bids. On Tuesday, Sept. 8, commissioners voted 5-0 to reduce Parkhill's professional services compensation by $68,989. The county's FY2027 budget, adopted the same day, includes a dedicated DA Expansion capital fund.

The other item was Change Order No. 040 to the SCI Construction contract for the Sheriff's Office renovation. That project has generated dozens of change orders in 2026, all approved unanimously.

County Judge Frank New, Commissioner Bobby Gallana, Commissioner Dana Macalik, Commissioner Lorne Liechty and Stacy were listed on the Sept. 22 agenda. Residents can find full election details at rockwallvotes.com. Voter registration closes Monday, Oct. 5.
