Dodie's Cajun Diner at The Harbor will give veterans and active-duty military personnel a free entrée on Veterans Day.

The Rockwall waterfront restaurant announced the promotion through the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. Eligible service members can choose from a special dine-in menu on Wednesday, Nov. 11. The offer is dine-in only.

The Veterans Day menu includes seven options: Crawfish Half & Half, Cajun Fish Tacos, Grilled Gulf Shrimp, Blackened Chicken Breasts, Pasta Monica, Po' Boys and Fried Plates. Choices range from chargrilled shrimp to fried catfish po' boys on French bread.

Dodie's is at 2067 Summer Lee in Rockwall, lakeside at The Harbor on Lake Ray Hubbard. The announcement was posted by Daniel Keils, listed as operations manager on the chamber posting.
